Our 40 day prayer challenge has begun.\u00a0 We are already seeing miracles happen.\u00a0 2013 is going to be an amazing year.\u00a0 I encourage you to share your dreams and fears here, whatever you are wanting the group to circle in prayer.\u00a0 We are committed to Praying for as long as it takes.\u00a0 Read Luke 18:1-8<\/a>.\u00a0 There is something God honors about persistence in prayer.\u00a0 Our objective is to get into God’s presence.\u00a0 Seeking Him first – then all the rest will be added.\u00a0 Keep On Asking, Keep On Seeking, Keep On Knocking (Matt 7:7-12<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Know this above all things as you start this journey\u2026 \u201cGod Is FOR you\u201d.<\/p>\n

Doesn\u2019t matter if you feel like it or not.\u00a0 He is for you.\u00a0 Jeremiah 29:11 says He KNOWS the plans He has for you, plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you, plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE.\u00a0 God is intensely interested in your future.<\/p>\n

Know also, that God honors bold and specific prayer.\u00a0 It is an old saying that \u201cIf you aim at nothing, you are almost assured of hitting it!\u201d<\/p>\n

What are you aiming at?<\/p>\n

What is your definition of success?<\/p>\n

What are your goals?\u00a0 Better yet, what are your LIFE GOALS?<\/p>\n

Are they achievable for you?\u00a0 If so, then I can almost promise you they are too small.<\/p>\n

Set some BHAG\u2019s.\u00a0 (Big Hairy Audacious Goals)\u00a0 One of the sayings on my wall is a quote from Daniel Burnham a renowned architect who was also the designer of Union Station in Washington D.C.\u00a0 It says, \u201cMake No Little Plans, they have not the power to stir men\u2019s souls\u201d<\/p>\n

If this is true of people, then what do you think would stir God\u2019s heart?<\/p>\n

Pastor Mark makes it clear that God is not a genie in a bottle\u2026 that our wish is not His command, rather His wish is our command.<\/p>\n

This is not about getting what we want, but WHAT GOD WANTS FOR ME!\u00a0 And that is an AWESOME thing!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
